It actually took another employee walking up before she finally acknowledged me and even then, she told me to “hold on” because she was dealing with an issue over the phone. I completely understand that situations come up, but great customer service means acknowledging the person standing right in front of you, not making them wait while you handle another matter. While I waited, Raina was clearly frustrated with the customer she was speaking to on the phone. She was huffing and puffing, throwing her hands up, and showing visible irritation, all while I stood there waiting to be helped. Her behavior was unprofessional and made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Working on the front line of customer service requires patience, professionalism, and composure, none of which she displayed. When I politely asked how long she would be, her sharp response was, “I’m dealing with an issue, so it will be a moment.” This kind of conduct is unacceptable from someone representing the company. Employees like Raina should be trained to keep their emotions in check and remember that every customer, whether in person or on the phone, deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect.
