  The food was great and the service was excellent. Amber was our server. She was personable and very accommodating. It was my mother’s birthday. She loved the atmosphere! They took our photos. I highly recommend this place.

  Great service great food and our server Camila and Ramon were great. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday and we were a party of 7. Well recommended for a great environment time with friends and family.👏🏻👍🏻🎂🎁👌🏻🥂

  Had a late run to New Jersey, and stopped at Mambo Cuban Restaurant and it was great. The place was very nice and welcoming. Our waiter was great and had great recommendations. I only had the chicken and beef empanadas, and they were delicious. Had a drink made for me which was also great. Thank you Mambo

  I cannot say enough about this place if I had to summon it up in words, it would be “JUST GO!!!!” The food was absolutely amazing cooked to perfection, elegantly placed and Graciously portioned! The atmosphere is so inviting with great music and beautifully decorated really giving the perfect Latin cuisine experience! But above all, I would have to say the staff is Something to write home about!!! LIKE WOW!! I have never been so okayed to and well taken care of literally treated like family… I actually canceled my plans after and stayed way longer than I originally planned to be a In-N-Out to go experience.. The bar has a beautiful LED lit epoxy top with the most amazing bartender, so knowledgeable about all of the food and wines, and all of the drinks were extraordinarily crafted! Evelyn is honestly who made my experience as close to perfect as someone could ask for! Along with Maria always passing by with an infectious smile and kind words.. and Amber constantly checking to see if there was anything I needed and answering all my questions (I had a lot) BEST LATIN RESTAURANT IN NJ HANDS DOWN!!

  Horrible Service!!! I usually give great reviews but this time. We had a really disappointing experience that literally ruined my birthday. As a paying customer of 6 people we ordered appetizers and entrees. Everybody's order was easy. Mine is the Bandeja special. It comes with rice so I just asked politely to put the rice on a separate plate since I do not eat rice and I'm diabetic I tried to lessen my carbs intake so instead of wasting it. Id rather give it to my wife or baby that's why I ask to put it on the side. After we put all our orders and settled in. Our Server named Paula and 2 more servers on the front told us that they cannot do it because it would ruin the presentation and she said it in an impolite tone that made me and my wife furious. Like is the Mambo Restaurant in Union NJ for real??? You guys do not want to accomodate the guest simple request because you think it would ruin your presentation. What a joke! And after escalating the situation. They eventually said that okay the chef will do it but on busy days you cannot do it. So okay. Your lost. This type of customer service is an embarrassment. Not to mention when my food came out, it doesn't show any passion on the presentation. And your Restaurant is clearly slow theres only few guest since we just had snowstorm. So I do not know what they're talking about. Theyre not busy at all. At the end since I have some guest with me. We decided to just finish of our meal. The other food is okay don't get me wrong. They even tried to sing happy birthday for me but the moment was ruined already. As we left we paid our bill and gave the server 18% tip. We usually leaves more but with how they treated us. They do not deserve it at all. And I would definitely Do Not recommend this Place especially to all of my Family and Friends in New Jersey. Attached is our receipt that I paid. To the management. You could have manage your staff & service better.
