- MAMark AApr 4, 20265.0After a few previous OK (not great, not bad) visits over the last year, I went tonight and the experience was a solid 10/10. The service was very prompt, friendly, and professional. The value is there, it's an elevated experience over a typical McDonald's. Plus, the order came out in only 5 minutes, which is faster than most "fast food" joints, and was actually freshly prepared. Double Bacon Burgers - great flavor and not dry. It wasn't just slapped together. Everything was neat, the toppings/cheese excellent, bacon was crispy and raw onion was plentiful and very flavorful. Fries were also excellent. Previously they were a bit mushy, but tonight they had a nice, crispy texture with fresh potatoes. You can get free refills at the Coke machine. One worker was diligently cleaning tables, it was very clean to dine in. Peanuts are great. It was a very enjoyable experience.

Fast food places don’t taste like a burger and every other place just reheat meat and people are just ok with it. Everything has double in price across all parts of life, so $20 for a burger makes sense. I’d gladly pay more for a real burger and anyone trying to say other places are just as fine live as some weird world. always ask for salt or add salt when you get home. :)

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
