Produce, particularly fresh veggies are occasionally a bit roughed up. The interior needs a refresh and the loudspeaker system sounds awful.

The man with the other customer called him and told him to help me out. He was not nice when I spoke with him, he also was wearing something that looked like a ski mask, which is completely out of place. He took my order and left of course with an attitude. 15 minutes passed and nothing happened, when I finally see him again, he was chatting with someone else and walking at the lowest speed you could ever see. Why have employees like that? I wasted my time since I was not willing to wait another 30+ minutes for him to “complete” my order. Why there’s no oversight and why have people doing a job and they don’t want to do? Unbelievable!!!!
- KNK NSep 13, 20252.0I only come to this Stop and Shop because my elderly parents live close by. ShopRite is further for them and not an easy option. Every time I come to this supermarket I thank god I live in state where Publix is king. This place is dusty and the staff is about as helpful as a bag of rocks. It’s unorganized and never more than 2 cashiers at their busiest time. They are really pushing the self checkout as the only option which I won’t do. I wish Teaneck had a better option than this dusty outdated 80’s market. Don’t get me started on the iffy looking meat section. At least ShopRite has better lighting.
