  First time visiting NJ and I wanted to try something similar to the food I’m used to back home. The customer service was great—attentive and friendly. I ordered the Bloomin’ Onion as an appetizer and it was solid. For my main dish, I ordered a New York Strip medium rare, but it came out well done. I asked the server if it could be replaced, and she took care of it right away with no hesitation. When the new steak came out, the manager asked me to cut into it to confirm the temperature, and it was medium rare, but both sides were burnt. At that point my appetite was gone. Overall, I just wish I had found something closer to a true Texas-style steakhouse.

  Mike was awesome - hectic night, hectic tables. Unfortunately one of the waitresses more or less threw my desert at me. I’ve never spoken to her in my life. Another waitress was told she forgot to deliver a salad and then rolled her eyes in response. Can’t stop saying how great Mike was - however everyone else here makes me think this isn’t the place I should come to on Veterans Day.

  Thanks so much, Outback, for our delicious Veterans Day meal! My husband had the steak, so juicy and cooked perfectly, and I had the coconut shrimp. We are both veterans and they gave us a three course meal each. Jada, our server, was very efficient, friendly, and respectful. They also had the table set up for the fallen soldier, which I find to be very sobering and honoring to those who can’t be here to enjoy this awesome meal. A very enjoyable meal! We’ll be back!

  My recent visit was deeply disappointing, focused entirely on the execution of a single dish: the steak. I specifically requested my steak to be medium, expecting a warm pink center. What arrived, however, was a culinary failure that showed a startling lack of care on the part of the kitchen staff. The steak was delivered pre-cut, a presentation choice I already dislike, but in this case, it was damning. Because it was sliced, the kitchen staff could not have missed the fact that the meat was blue—cold, raw, and barely seared. This wasn't even rare; it was dangerously undercooked and completely unacceptable. The decision to send out a piece of meat that was so clearly, visibly, not cooked to the requested temperature, and was, in fact, almost raw, suggests a disturbing indifference. It felt as though the staff simply did not care about the quality of the food leaving the pass or, more importantly, the experience of the customer receiving it. I immediately sent the plate back. At that point, my appetite was gone, and my faith in the kitchen was completely shattered. I declined a replacement and ended up not eating anything during the meal. When I pay a premium for a steak, I expect it to be cooked correctly, or at the very least, checked before being plated. This was poor execution compounded by a careless presentation that served only to highlight the error. I left feeling undervalued as a customer and hungry. I cannot recommend dining here based on this experience.

  Food was very salty. Attended around 6pm on a Saturday in October. A friend and I had dinner and drinks at the bar before a movie. We intended to sit at the bar, and there were a handful of seats available at a ~15-20 seater. Bar tender was busy but friendly and fairly punctual. When I was asked for my two sides with my entree, they didn’t clue me in the French onion soup wasn’t an included side. My baked potato came out great, the steak was a true medium, and my chicken breast was moist. The French onion soup was tasty but very salty. Steaks are a high in sodium dish but this one was a bit much. My friend had a burger and was satisfied.
