  Took my Rutgers student to dinner tonight as a midweek treat. Had a delicious dinner! He was craving butter chicken, and I enjoyed the kadai chicken. Both dishes were beautifully seasoned, the chicken was very moist, and the portions were just right. We finished with gulab jamun, a perfect ending. Will definitely be back! Service was great, very casual atmosphere, not fancy but worth a visit! Sadly, they were out of many of the specialty drinks because of a delivery issue, but it did not make our meal less enjoyable.

  Just had Mandi and honestly, it was amazing! The rice was perfectly cooked flavorful, aromatic, and super soft. The meat was tender, juicy, and literally melting in the mouth.

  Had a great experience at Desi Dawat. The food was excellent, especially the mandi—it was authentic and full of flavor. Really enjoyed the taste and quality. Highly recommended

  My first time trying Indian food in NJ and I was not disappointed at all!!!! The food was so flavorful and came out pretty quick! Fresh ingredients and I highly recommend the Chicken Majestic appetizer and the Garlic Nan with Butter Chicken! Get ready for a spicy dinner 🫶 10/10 highly recommend
