  We ordered our dinner to go. Food was very good. The crab bow tie pasta was delicious & my son loved the Chicken Parm.

  My visit to this bistro was based on a quick perusal of ratings posted by diners and the fact that it was in close proximity to my just completed doctor’s appointment. An error on both counts. We arrived just minutes after its opening. The waitress had not even arrived, so the owners, a very nice couple, did the honors. Our appetizer of fried calamari arrived, along with some toasted bread slices. The calamari was rather chewy; it was a good thing we were not in any hurry. I selected the soup of the day. Unfortunately the green beans and potato were likely from yesterday. The lunch specials of veal franchise, meatballs and pasta, and scallops over linguine were selected. One should be able to cut the veal with a fork; I needed a steak knife. The three large meatballs were baked in the oven in water and a bit of oil. They were fine once you drowned them in red sauce. The third diner at our table seemed content with his scallop dish, but he would never say a bad word about anybody or any dish. Our dessert choice was affogato which should be espresso poured lightly over very firm vanilla ice cream. However, it was rather soupy upon arrival at our table. The owners and waitress were extremely congenial, but the quality of the food served could not save them. I halved the average rating others had posted and my math came to a 2.3 out of 5.

  We were celebrating a birthday and it was a great little place to come up to. I had the salmon which was a huge portion but delicious. My husband had the scallops fra diaviolo which he said was better than places around us. My parents are regular diners there and my mom said the clams and spaghetti is the best meal she's had in awhile. The peanut butter explosion we had for dessert was spectacular! All around great experiences. We would come back up to go again
