I have recently become a full time resident after only being down here in the summers for many years. So I always gave this store props for handling the massive summer onslaught of people with grace. So, that said, I can make excuses for many things in the summer. But I have been coming here now for months and cannot get consistency at the deli counter. I like my lunchmeat cut very thin and this seems to be almost impossible to get. Some of the employees almost seem annoyed when asked for this. So sometimes I get it and sometimes I don't? What prompted this review are the ham steaks that I opened this morning. Yesterday I was asked twice "how much again?" Twice I repeated the amount and "Please slice it very thin" And since I'm writing this I will add that you also never know what mood the deli workers will be in. Most of the women are usually very pleasant but the guys seriously seem to hate their jobs. So I hope this can be passed along that when you are paying $10 to $17/lb for lunchmeat it would be nice if it could be sliced as requested. Thank you!
