Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We started with the salad, which was fresh and perfectly dressed. The lasagna bolognese and carbonara were perfect. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The food here is phenomenal—authentic farm to table level freshness and the tiramisu’s are out of this world—only in Italy do they make them this way—made to order, not sitting and getting soggy. The portions are great and the quality is such that the prices are more than worth it. Wonderful family owned fantastic restaurant. I’ll be back.

The food was genuinely amazing—everything tasted fresh and well prepared. However, the portions were on the smaller side, which isn’t my preference, especially considering the price. Overall, the restaurant is quite expensive.
Customer service was decent. Initially, we were told we would be charged for extra bread. After our waitress accidentally spilled water on my child, she brought us bread to make up for it and did not charge us, which we appreciated.
My biggest issue was the lack of pricing transparency. Every dish we ordered was priced higher than what was listed on the restaurant’s website. For example, the Fettuccine / Rigatoni Amatriciana Bolognese was listed online at $22, but we were charged $26 for dining in. When I asked about it, the owner explained that the website prices are for takeout only and that dine-in prices are higher. This distinction was not clearly stated online and impacted our entire bill.
Overall, the food quality was very good, but between the small portions and the higher dine-in pricing across the board, I don’t feel the experience justifies the cost. It was a decent experience, but not one I’d rush back to at these prices
Edit 1 response to owner :
“Wow. Just wow.
Came here because the online menu and the one plastered on the door looked reasonable—decent portions, fair prices. Ordered four entrees to dine in. Bill arrives and it’s at least $20 higher than expected. Turns out every single item is mysteriously $4–5 more expensive for dine-in than what’s advertised. No warning, no footnote, no ‘prices may vary for dine-in’ anywhere. Just pure menu bait-and-switch.
When I politely asked about the difference, I got shrugs and ‘that’s just how it is.’ Left a honest review mentioning the surprise charges and lack of transparency.
The owner’s response? A public essay shaming me for daring to complain about ‘only $4’ (they clearly didn’t read that it was $4–5 PER ITEM), mocking me for not understanding ‘takeout vs restaurant menus’ (as if secretly jacking up every price without notice is standard practice), and literally telling me ‘this is not the place for you.’ All because I pointed out their pricing sleight-of-hand.
Bro, if your business model relies on tricking people with fake-low menu prices and then springing a hidden dine-in surcharge, maybe you’re the one who doesn’t understand how restaurants work in 2025.
Transparency isn’t optional—it’s basic decency.
Food was fine, but the taste of getting scammed and then publicly berated by the owner for noticing? Lingers way longer than the meal.
Hard pass forever. Plenty of places that don’t treat customers like idiots who won’t notice an extra $20 vanishing from their wallet.
Save your money and your dignity—eat literally anywhere else.”

What a hidden gem in the cute town of Ridgewood! This small Italian restaurant is full of charm and heart. The pasta was made completely from scratch and tasted incredible—rich, authentic Italian flavors in every bite, clearly prepared with so much love and care. The dessert was absolutely out of this world and the perfect ending to an amazing meal. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and a truly memorable experience. Great service. Can’t wait to come back!

A small but lovely place owned and operated by Italians. Excellent food. I had the chicken special, friends had pasta, they said it was very good. Then got a tiramisu which - surprisingly - had a crunchy layer of lady fingers in it. It was different but excellent.
The only surprise was right at the beginning when we heard that alcohol was 'bring your own'.... What?? An Italian place without red wine?? But we resolved it by walking over the corner to a wine store and bought a bottle of nice chianti. Not being local there, we didn't know....
