I’m writing this because I felt I was treated differently than the customer immediately after me, and it made me uncomfortable. When I placed my order, I was not asked whether my order was for here or to go. My food was left on the counter without being bagged, and I had to ask for a bag. I was then handed a bag and had to bag my own order. Immediately after me, the next customer (a white woman) was asked whether her order was for here or to go, and her food was bagged for her without her having to ask. The contrast in service was noticeable and concerning. I understand that mistakes happen, but the difference in how we were treated back-to-back felt dismissive and inconsistent. As a customer, I expect equal and professional service. I hope management reviews this interaction and ensures that all customers are treated with the same level of courtesy and attention.
