Rather mediocre food, there are many much better places in Princeton.

Here's a million dollar idea for you. Sell your hummus in grocery stores! Nothing else widely available even comes close to Mamouns' hummus!

Mamouns is a shadow of its former self. While prices have stayed relatively the same as they were before the pandemic, the quality of the food has suffered horrendously. The pitas are a quarter of the size, and thick as a sheet of paper. Meat portion sizes have also gone down. I had about 4 chunks of meat in my sandwich, all of which were seasoned with nothing. Fries were also totally bland despite being well cooked. The worst part of this entire ordeal was the fact that THERE WAS NO RED SAUCE. I think that omission by itself is enough reason to avoid this place like the plague if you have any self-respect.

My son and I had the most wonderful experience at this lovely restaurant. The food is so fresh and delicious. I had the best lentil soup I have ever had! I have had lentil soup of every nationality and this lentil soup was unlike any other! You MUST try it! The hummus also was delicious and the pita was not dry and skinny like most places, but plump, soft and fresh. I loved my falafel sandwich which was still decicious 7 hours later when I finally ate it for dinner. My son also loved his gyro and talked about how yummy the meat was. The owners of this restaurant are lovely, generous people who truly care about their customers. They hire staff who are also lovely and caring. What a special establishment. I can't wait to return!

Rude staff, below average food. They did not put hot sauce at all, just Tahini sauce. No flavors, food quantity too less for the price. The NYC or Hoboken location is a bit better. But overall Mamoun’s is on a downhill with increased prices and sub standard food quality.
