  I’m never down in Plainfield but what a great burrito. Try my burrito: Mexican rice, birria meat, black beans, a little bit of lettuce, pico de gallo and corn, and finish it off with their housemade chipotle honey sauce and a squeeze of lime. Get the red and green salsa on the side and add some however you see fit. It won’t let you down. Very quick and very good.

From the moment you walk in, the colorful and vibrant ambiance sets the tone for a great experience—and the food absolutely delivers. While the menu may look familiar with tacos, quesadillas, and bowls, the flavors are anything but ordinary. Every bite is rich, bold, and satisfying. The house-made sauces really take things to the next level, adding depth and character to each dish. I also tried the pickled onions and jalapeños, which added the perfect tangy kick. Also, the Churros were one of the best I’ve ever had.. hot and tempting 🫶🏻 A special shoutout to the owner, Jamal, who was incredibly welcoming and clearly passionate about what he does. That level of hospitality makes the experience even better. Overall, this is a must-try spot and could easily become your go-to spot

  Loved this Halal spot with amazing for Mexican food. Service and from Owner Jamal and staff is really attentive and explained each dish with patience. Restaurant is very cleanl and decorated with love and dedication. I have heard the amazing Boris taco and burrito bowls and noodles. But me being vegetarian they accommodated amazingly. I had customer Nachos and it was delicious and filling. Mexican pizza and crunch wraps were amazing. Must try Cream filled Churros. Authentic Guacamole and flavorful options for Salsa. This is a Must try SPOT in Plainfield, NJ

  Mexi Papa Tacos is honestly a whole experience. I tried the Crunchwrap, Mexican pizza, and churros, and everything exceeded expectations. The Crunchwrap I really loved — it gave that Taco Bell vibe but felt much more fresh and healthier, with way better flavor and quality ingredients. The Mexican pizza was crispy, cheesy, and topped with fresh pico that brought everything together really well. It felt fresh and not overly heavy. But the churros were easily the highlight. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the filling just took it to another level. It was the perfect blend of sweetness and salt, and honestly one of the best churros I’ve had. The atmosphere is great, the food is fresh, and you can tell there’s real care put into everything. Definitely a must try spot. Food: 5 | Service: 5 | Atmosphere: 5

  I had such a great experience at Mexi Papa Tacos! The Crunchwrap was honestly one of the best I’ve had—super flavorful, perfectly crispy, and not overly greasy. The chips and guac were fresh and addictive, and you can tell everything is made with quality ingredients. I had to end it with the churros, which were warm, perfectly sweet, and just hit the spot. Definitely one of those places I’ll keep coming back to whenever I’m craving good Mexican food.
