It's McDonald's. The food was fine. The staff was transactional - not friendly, for sure, but not rude. The drive through moved at a steady speed. Not fast but not frustrating.
I can't say that this is my favorite place to go. I find their food more expensive than other fast food restaurants, and their staff isn't particularly welcoming. I only go to this location in a pinch..

I came to the McDonald’s on South Ave in Plainfield for the Monopoly promotion. I ordered items that the app showed were part of the Monopoly game, including a sausage, egg & cheese McGriddles, but my food didn’t have the peel. When I mentioned it at the window, the employee was rude and dismissive, and the manager told me it wasn’t included. Later, I checked the app and the game paper, which clearly showed it was eligible. When I went back to explain, the manager changed her story and said it was “only for online orders,” but couldn’t show me where it said that. The way the situation was handled was unprofessional and confusing.

i don’t come to this location very often but whenever i do i usually go thru the drive thru. Every time i go i feel like im given my food to by robots. Nobody says anything, not a hello how are you. not a you’re welcome after i say thank you for them giving me my food. It’s like ??? hello are you alive ? even when i go to pay they don’t ask cash or card they just wait until i pull something out like ??? I don’t know i think the people who work drive thru js need to be retrained on basic manners lol. I’ve worked fast food before and have never been miserable enough to completely not acknowledge somebody.
