  Despite repeatedly asking for “less ice,” they basically served me a cup full of ice. They clearly don’t listen when taking orders. When I politely asked them to fix it, they took it back, removed maybe one or two ice cubes, and brought it right back like it was some kind of joke. I was there with friends and didn’t want to argue, so I just took it and left—but this is honestly unacceptable. I asked nicely multiple times and was treated like they were making fun of me. Terrible service.

  Be careful and watch them when handling your food. The workers, although nice, are not clean. Cross contamination is frequent. A glove fell on the floor and the female picked it up and placed on the cutting board and used it. They dont seem to have basic food handling training.

  I placed an order today and when I arrived I was told they didn’t have the item. This has happened more than once to me at this Oakland location. When I asked for a refund I was told by the cashier that she couldn’t do it that I needed to come back when a manager was there. When I called corp they told me they couldn’t help me because it’s the store’s responsibility. Basically I’m not going to get my money back and buyer beware don’t place mobile order and I would steer clear of this location.

  I hate to leave a negative review, however, I came in to pick up my drink and noticed the color was off and tasted different so I knew it was made incorrectly so I asked for it to be remade. I watched the girl who remade it put the new drink in the original cup that wasn't cleaned out and it tasted the same as the last, I honestly don't know if it was made incorrectly again or if I was tasting the remnants leftover from the last drink. I didn't not ask for it to be remade but they asked if it was better as I was walking out, and I answered honestly that it still tasted the same. Another worker remade the drink in a new clean cup and it tasted fine, so I'm not sure what the problem was but I also had a similar issue ordering the same drink once last week at this location. I've ordered this drink other times between then and now and had no problem at all so I'm not sure what went wrong in both of these instances. I've also ordered this drink at this location prior to last week and it was fine before. I've been a barista before and I understand how hard it is to memorize a bunch of drink recipes so I don't hold it against the workers, however what started as a quick grab and go order led to me being there for 20 minutes and I unfortunately don't have that kind of time to wait for my drink in the middle of the day each time so I don't think I'll be returning.

  I typically don’t leave reviews but the experience I had this morning was atrocious. They only had one girl at the register who was taking orders and making drinks and another at the oven making food who was extremely obnoxious. I understand it gets busy but it shouldn’t take over 10 minutes for 1 drink. As mentioned before the girl making the food was calling out an order and when she called it the second time said “I’m not calling this all out again I’m losing my voice” I’m sorry but I have no idea who taught her customer service skills. On top of her talking about the middle schoolers that come in after school during the week and using mommy and daddy’s money. I’m not sure what 12 year old doesn’t use their parent’s money. Felt very low class and like I wasn’t even in Oakland. I’ll just stick to going to Starbucks across the street.
