  This cake was a hit..delicious flavor..vanilla cake with custard and fresh strawberry filling. Beautiful flower decorations.. guests were blown away it "was from acme"..kudos to the bakery department

  Two weeks in a row my shop from home order was missing items that I paid for. Last week was at least $80 worth of meats if not more. They had told me to head back to the store when I had called and they would give me the missing box. Drove back over only to find the box completely missing as they mistakenly gave it to a door dash worker and then asked me to shop for the missing items myself as they couldn’t get in to the system to see what I had ordered. I was promised a call back the following day from the manager which never happened. Made the mistake of ordering again this week thinking last week was a fluke as I place an order almost every week with no issues. My order today was also missing items. This is unacceptable. Update: Went back to the store to pick up missing items from today’s order. Left my number again for the manager to hopefully call this time. Was offered to speak to the person in the shop from home department which I declined stating that I want to speak with a manager because there is clearly a big issue here. The one associate said “Howie is here” the other associate looked at me and said “you won’t want to speak with him because he won’t be of any help.” Why do you employ associates like that? Let alone a supervisor? If their coworkers and team are literally steering customers away from a supervisor to wait for another, that had already failed to follow up once, don’t you think that is a red flag. I truly feel for these poor teenagers doing their best with what appears to be barely any support or guidance.

  Overall, the experience has been average. Prices tend to be high unless items are on sale. One recurring issue I’ve noticed is that products sometimes ring up at a higher price than advertised, which is frustrating. The details of sales can also be confusing, as certain versions of a brand are included while others are not. Clearer pricing and promotions would make shopping here much easier.

  HOW THE HELL DOES ACME STAY IN BUSINESS? THEY HAVE LIMITED LEADERS AND PRICES ARE ALWAYS 40% HIGHER THEN SHOPRITE. SAME BRANDS. THEY CAN NOT COMPETE AND SHOULD CLOSE STORES TO GIVE WAY TO ALDIS AND LIDL !!!!
