I rarely post reviews on google, but felt the need to following my last three visits to this store (which is my regular grocery store). First visit, 8pm, I was doing a full week's grocery shopping and there was next to no produce or meat available. Get to the checkout, there are four workers standing around but none are working the register so I was forced to check out an entire cart of items in the tiny self check out area - I basically walled myself in with bags. So inconvenient. Second visit, on a Saturday afternoon a woman was trying to get helium balloons and apparently none of the workers knew how to do it so after waiting five minutes she was asked if she could come back in a half an hour. Last night was probably the worst. Again, around 8pm and the woman in front of me in line had checked through $280+ of groceries, they were bagged and in her cart. She was trying to use her EBT card only to be told the entire EBT system was down and not working. She wasn't sure what to do and the two workers were just like "I don't know". She just wanted some guidance. Someone called a manager on the phone as there wasn't one on duty and they didn't have an answer either. The poor woman was just like "do I have to buy this now?" The workers said nothing. I suggested that she buy it, and keep all of the dry goods bagged and return them the next day for a refund and re-buy them with her EBT if the system was working. We both suggested that they make an announcement over the PA system to alert other shoppers of the EBT system being down, or putting a sign on the door. But none of these things happened for the five or so minutes afterwards while I checked out. The customer service at this location is severely sub-par of late. I'm considering jumping ship to Shop Rite. Train your workers better and staff efficiently.

Your website is ridiculous. Sometimes I can clip coupons , mostly it doesn't work. Prices are higher than any other stores. We live only 2 blocks away but seriously try to avoid this store.

The entire company of acme is out of their damn minds. They charge, per their site, for Perdue chicken breasts $9.66 per pound. You can get the same exact chicken breast from Walmart for, PER THEIR SITE, for $3.97 per pound. They need a freaking reality check. I truly hope they go out of business so something else can replace it. 😬
