This place is located adjacent to Penn Station Newark, right across the street, and can be accessed through an above ground gateway (so you are completely under cover for the entire journey). So, the location is prime if you are in need of waiting for a train. There are seating areas in the restaurant ... as well as a lobby area just a few feet away. And it is relatively quiet compared to the hustle and bustle of the train station.
On to the food ... quite good. I went for the Chicken Gyro. I happen to get it as it was freshly carved off the spit. Yum! I paired it with some fries and a soda. Exactly what I wanted. And then, as mentioned previously, a comfortable place to sit and wait for my train.

First timer here and I was truly disappointed with my bowl as the rice portion were less than Chipotle. I only got to pick two salad toppings, got 2 potatoes. Wish, I spent money some where else for $17.01 please refund me or let me try again. But my first time experience was wack.
The rating is based on the price change, doesn't really feel worth it anymore. With an additional limit on toppings, (limit 2) overall raise in price and an extra charge on toppings $18+ for a bowl doesn't feel like a bargain, for that price I can go to the other restaurants at the Gateway.

After Indian, Mediterranean is my second favorite cuisine.
What a crazy traffic it was… it actually took me 65 minutes to reach there. And of course, finding parking right in front of Penn Station? I guess I can find God more easily than a parking spot there…
I ended up keeping my car on standby — luckily, the guard at the door didn’t mind. I originally planned to dine in, but the parking situation made me pack my food instead.
Coming to the food — the place is on the 2nd floor of the building, with really nice décor and ambience. I honestly wish I could have sat down to enjoy my meal there.
I ordered the Chicken & Salmon Bowl with fries on the side.
the food was awesome! The salmon was the absolute showstopper — perfectly cooked and topped with olives, feta, tzatziki, TGP sauce, Greek slaw, and more. The chicken was good too, but the salmon definitely stole the show.
I just wish they had an outlet in Morris County too… all their locations are a bit too far!

Excellent healthy food option at a reasonable downtown price.
Tried a Gyro bowl and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of the size and taste of the food.
Quaint Cafe look to the dining area.
Look forward to trying another bowl in the future.
