- CKChris krahulecDec 2, 20255.0Excellent healthy food option at a reasonable downtown price. Tried a Gyro bowl and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of the size and taste of the food. Quaint Cafe look to the dining area. Look forward to trying another bowl in the future.

First I will share about food- we love Greek food snd Gyro Project has great options if you want wrap, bowl or salad snd many other lighter options too like dips/pita, bakery items etc. I got the bowl, pita wrap and few other items. The food tasted delicious and fresh. But, I left with such a bad experience from the staff/manager. The service sucks. The way they talked or behaved is just uncalled for. I was very disappointed. Either they need training as to how to serve people or they should be let go. Btw we have tried Gyro Project in Fort Lee before this location opened up, the staff was beyond amazing both times at Fort Lee. Unfortunately, I would not be going to Newark location. Not worth my time and money. 3 stars are only for the food.

(Salmon was extra $, but staff let me know as soon as I asked for it)
