    I’ve been coming to On The Border in North Brunswick for about 25 years, and it’s been a few years since my last visit. I never got around to posting a review before, but coming back after so long really reminded me why this place has lasted all these years. It’s got that same nostalgic feel, and the food has stayed consistent for decades. Nothing fancy, just honest, comforting food that feeds the soul. That consistency is probably one of the biggest reasons they’ve survived and stayed loved by so many. Today’s visit stood out because of our server, Jenna. She was outstanding from start to finish. Her attention to detail, warm attitude, and genuine care really made a difference. I go out to eat a lot, and it’s rare to see service this polished and effortless. Huge credit to On The Border for keeping that spirit alive after so many years, and special recognition to Jenna for delivering the kind of hospitality that’s hard to find these days.

    Love this place. Just wish we had one closer to us in South Jersey!! Our server Jessica was EXCELLENT!! ONLY complaint would be that salsa they serve was too spicy. They need to offer mild.
