Family owned and operated since 1971, Mamoun’s Falafel has been serving high quality Middle Eastern food for decades. Our philosophy is simple: To serve fresh, authentic Middle Eastern cuisine in a fast casual environment. Everything we serve is made from scratch using only the freshest natural ingredients, the finest imported spices, and our signature recipes. These values, together with our rich tradition and commitment to excellence, have distinguished Mamoun’s as a premier falafel restaurant. Whether it’s the tiny “hole in the wall” charm, the high energy of our customers and staff, or the flavorful menu, going to Mamoun’s for falafel, shawarma, and kebobs can transform an ordinary meal into a unique dining experience.
Customers praised the falafel and lamb dishes for their flavor and freshness, but some reported issues with portion sizes and food quality, including dry meat and incorrect orders.
Customer Service
Service experiences varied widely; while some staff were noted as friendly and efficient, many reviews highlighted rude behavior and poor customer service, particularly during busy hours.
Pricing and Value
While some customers found the prices fair for the quality, others felt that portion sizes were too small for the cost, and there were complaints about additional charges for standard requests.
Atmosphere
The dining area is small and can be crowded, with some customers noting issues with noise levels and cleanliness.
Consistency
Several customers mentioned a decline in quality and service compared to other locations, indicating inconsistency in their experiences.

Excellent food. Stopped in for a sandwich on my way to a meeting in New Brunswick. I had the
Shawarma which was fantastic! I don't get to New Brunswick often but now I know where to go for a quick bite to eat!

Love platters, got the lamb platter & had to be the most disgusting one i ever had in my life. Rice isn’t even good, it’s rice. Tiny burnt pieces of lamb. Edge of a head of lettuce called a salad. & Hair in my partners dish.

I have been getting mamouns for such a large part of my life and never have i ever been so appalled with what just happened today. I came in, admittedly late, at 10:30 to pick up some food and was very apologetic because they did not seem very happy I walked in. I ordered my food quickly at the kiosk and then proceeded to ask the skinny girl in the front with the curly hair to make sure there’s no ice in my drink. She then POURS THE DRINK WITH ICE IN IT, and proceeds too tell me it’s too late she already poured. I didn’t say anything because it was late and I could understand why she was upset someone came in last minute. I was then waiting as she is giving me the dirtiest look in which I then think to myself, I understand you’re upset but it’s so unnecessary to act like that at your place of work. The other girl comes out of the bathroom and I remember her also just looking at me weirdly but I didn’t think much of it and she was wearing an necklace with an F on it. She packs my bag to go and hands it to me very aggressively in such a rude manner not even saying a word. The service is actually insane I really hope I never have to see those two ever again. I have been here and the guy who works often during the day is always very nice and has a good attitude towards customers. I have never felt more disrespected, uncomfortable and humiliated in my life. As someone who has a job in the service industry this behavior is absolutely disgusting and so shocking from a business like this.
