On Thursday evening I stopped by and they didn't not have the prime rib that I wanted for Easter but I went to the front to get a raincheck and when J came to the desk I was told he could not give me a raincheck and I asked why because they did not have not even one roast in the meat case and he stated because the manager said so because some man came in and wanted a raincheck because they didn't have it and then he was gonna go get one at another store and save the raincheck for later. Well if anyone knows ACME does not normally carry prime rib roast only during Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas so in reality he would've had a long wait! I didn't have a chance to go back for the sale because I was getting it for my neighbors an older couple who I usually get stuff for and this really bothered me. In all my years of shopping there I have never had an experience like this. But I was able to get the raincheck for their asparagus! I love ACME meats especially their beef cuts so that is why I really love to shop there. But I just might have to rethink that after this experience 🤔 I really want to say to the store manager don't take things out on your loyal customers because of something one person did or said! I will add a picture of my favorite bread that I buy from Acme that was on sale for one day...no additives or preservatives in this bread at all only about 5 ingredients! I am not a halal food eater but mixed with regular meat I erraneously ended up buying it, cost for hahal food certification should not be pushed indirectly on to non hahal food eaters. Have a separate section for full awareness. Paid $20 for think chicken breasts, had to throw it out.
