- JHJames Hickey6 days ago1.0This past Saturday night I walked over to Capisce to get a meatball parm, I've been getting that same order there for many years. I was doing work nearby, about three quarters of a mile away. When I walked back I found they had given me a chicken parm. How do you screw that up especially when the order was repeated back to me. I called, explained what happened, and said I'll be walking back to get my fixed order. It wasn't ready yet when I got back and I asked to speak to the owner to see if they would make up for it. The kid behind the counter came back and said we'll you're getting a free sandwich and laughed about it, I had brought back the chicken parm uneaten. I asked again to speak to the owner and after a minute or so the kid came back and said he was busy. BUSY??? To talk to a loyal customer about a screwed up order??? That's your damn job, to speak to your customers if there's an issue! The kid behind the counter again laughed and again said you're getting a free sandwich. They had already taken the chicken parm away and I said so you're making up for it by not charging for the sandwich I wanted? No he said, you're getting the chicken parm for free. I said you already took it back so how am I getting a free sandwich. By that time I had had enough. A month earlier a similar thing happened at Godfather in Morristown. They apologized, delivered the correct order, and credited my account. Capisce did neither, not even an apology. So a screwed up order, no apology, no compensation, owner too busy, and laughed at. I will never set foot in or order from them again! This is how they treat a many years loyal customer and a 64 year old Marine Veteran.

The no flop crust and the sweet tomato sauce, fresh cheese and basil made it! It's also a BYOB. Tonight we are getting take out - Grandma Square Pie. The staff are very hospitable.
