I waited too long for a drink, wasnt offered a menu at the bar, just small things that good management would train for. Good place though and good crowd.

L So many other steak houses with much better food and service.

Our server hovered the entire time, was too chatty, and continually interrupted our meal and conversations for completely unnecessary reasons. It was like having a third person in our party. Extremely irritating and it really ruined the experience. The memory has also stopped us from returning. There's a difference between attentive service and being intrusive, and the servers could use some training in that regard.
- BFBestrice FOct 30, 20253.0Went last night to celebrate my daughters 17 bday. Our favorite steakhouse is Mastros but needed to stay close to home. And being new to the area I wanted to try it. We were 8 pp. The restaurant was literally empty minus four pp. they set up the table very nicely for us. Bread came. It was average at best. Warmed up baguettes. Than came the 8 steaks. ZERO presentation whatsoever. A piece of filet mignon plopped on a plate. We were all starving. We had just come from my daughter volleyball game that lasted three hours. The meat was tender but the outside was burnt and the inside was not cooked as ordered. In fact we ordered 6 filet mignon one rib eye and one ny strip. All the filets were ordered medium well and ALL 6 came out very different. A couple rare a couple overcooked and a couple medium well. The NY strip Was good probably a 8/10. The filets were 6.5/10. And than the mashed potatoes. We ordered three of them. They were cold, dry and no taste. But you need mashed potatoes with steak. The corn was ok. The Mac and cheese was the only thing that was wow. Oh and the service. That was wow as well. Should have went to capital grille and to be honest we love steak and live so close but would never go back.
