Employees are super rude. Especially the older female at self checkout yesterday. The way she spoke to customers including myself was completely unacceptable. I don’t plan on returning. If I do, and I see that woman still working there, I’m calling corporate. She should not still have her position. I’m truly astounded by her choice of words towards customers.

POS store with POS employees. I was threatened in the store by the incompetent employee behind the customer service counter. The girl at the self checkout today is also extremely incompetent. I will never spend A dollar of my hard earned money in this awful Store run by terrible people. I’ve never seen an employee act so trashy while threatening a customer.

ACME Montclair NJ 07043, Valley Rd.
Shortly after 12pm on 1/3/26, I, along with several other customers, had an unpleasant experience with an employee working the self checkout area. She was an older woman with a disgusting attitude, no kindness whatsoever. First she was rude when she told us that we were “blocking the path” when we were waiting in line for self checkout. “STOP! BACK UP! You’re blocking the path.” Once we followed directions and backed up into the aisle, she got upset again. “MOVE OVER. LINE UP BEHIND THE POLE, YOURE BLOCKING THE AISLE.” No please or thank you. She then rolled her eyes and said, “It’s not that hard!” — That’s what really upset me. How dare she speak to me and fellow customers that way? It was apparently “that hard”, because every time she asked us to do something, she changed minor details of what she wanted us to do. I felt extremely disrespected and it put me in a state of emotional distress as I am a sensitive person. There was zero consideration as to how her words, tone, and attitude could affect a person. We did nothing wrong, we followed what she asked us to do, and every time, she criticized how we did it and belittled us with that rude comment. Everyone in line was looking at one another, shocked at how rude this lady was. Some even made a few comments under their breath. “This woman’s crazy,” one of them said. It was extremely unprofessional and I would like to see something done about this woman. Acme just might lose my business if something is not done about this rude, unprofessional, disrespectful staff member. I likely won’t be returning for some time. Thank you.
