- PCPenny CasassaApr 6, 20261.0I frequent the location often as I live down the street. Today I was so disappointed while waiting for my lunchmeat I heard over the loud speaker no less than 18 times that the deli had a call on line 200. We knew the gal was busy slicing lunchmeant and she was the only clerk there to help. One would reasonably think that another employee would hear that the call was not being answered and could offer help. But no help was offered. The deli gal served 2 customers and tried to pick up the phone call but the frustrated caller had hung up. It was my time to get my deli meats and sure enough the overhead speaker announced once again there was a call on line 200. I saw a guy with a tablet and a name tag and I asked if he was the store manager. He said no that the store manager was in his office. Clearly, he was in the office! Clearly the store manager is unaware of his surroundings and never thought to answer the caller or to see if the deli employee needed help! As a past employee of a busy neighborhood grocery store my heart went out to the employee. I forget her name, she is always pleasant. A petite woman. She slices the lunchmeat perfectly!
