  Last year, I went to The Olive Bistro to celebrate Palestinian Independence Day in Little Falls, New Jersey; this year, I went to the exact location to celebrate this special occasion. This is the second time I have been to Little Falls. The first time I went to this place, I had the freekeh soup with pita chips with zataar, with olive oil. Then I had the yogurt sauce with cucumbers and mint. But the best part of my first time dining here in honor of Palestinian National Day was the Palestinian Kidreh which came with roasted chicken. I love olive oil and that includes Palestinian olive oil. Today, I visited this place after an entire year from the last one in honor of Palestine again. I loved the chicken musakhan (the national dish of Palestine) which consisted of roasted chicken, allspice, onions, saffron, and sumac over baked taboon bread; and homemade Arabian brewed mint tea. Lastly, I loved the olives. I am glad to have visited this place twice.

  Small place, overpriced, service is unimaginably slow and food quality is not good at all. Everything I wrote is okay with me but not until I found a bone in a Musakhan Roll which is extremely unacceptable especially that my 2 year old was eating the roll. Thank god that I grabbed it from her before she choked on it. This is not the service that middle eastern people expect when they visit these places!

  I want to be completely honest I’m a very hard person to please, especially when it comes to food and service. When I find a restaurant that delivers a true 10 out of 10 experience, it genuinely stands out. When I visit a Palestinian restaurant, I expect authentic Palestinian food, not something merely “inspired” by it and this place delivers exactly that. I’ve been coming here for about a year now, and I have to say the service is consistently exceptional. There’s a gentleman with glasses who often takes care of me, and I wish I had gotten his name. He’s always patient, kind, and incredibly attentive the kind of service that truly warms your heart. Another young male waiter has also served me before, and his service was so genuine that I actually felt at home and stayed for tea after my meal. The Maklouba here is phenomenal one of the best I’ve had, especially compared to other places in Manhattan. The cleanliness of the restaurant is also impeccable. I often travel here on my days off, usually after getting my nails or spa treatments done, because I genuinely look forward to the experience. The owner deserves full recognition you’re doing an amazing job. As a proud Palestinian, I can say this restaurant truly honors our cuisine and culture. Well done.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely amazing food and service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for HALA for exceptional & courteous service. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The hummus and baba ghanoush were creamy and authentic, the lentil soup was rich and comforting, and the freshly baked pita was perfect. The grilled meat and shawarma platters were juicy, tender, and full of flavor, paired perfectly with the aromatic rice topped with pine nuts. The mint lemonade was refreshing and the service was friendly and attentive. You can truly taste the quality and care in every dish. One of the best Mediterranean meals I’ve had in New Jersey. Highly recommended! 🌿🥙🍋
