The lack of attention from the staff was very disappointing. For a first-time visitor, this was a very poor experience and not welcoming at all.

The food is not only incredibly tasty and the portions generous, each dish is presented with such care. Today we came for the first time on a weekday and were blown away by the fabulous lunch special! Can’t wait to come back!

The flavors reminded me of true Middle Eastern home cooking, perfectly seasoned, rich, and comforting. New Jersey needed a place like this. I’ll definitely be back soon with friends and family!
- NZNora ZDec 18, 20255.0As an Arab, this place is in my top 3 for middle eastern food. Absolutely delicious food, big portions, great atmosphere, lovely people working there, and reasonably priced. We’ve tried many of the dishes and none of them have disappointed. The last time I went with my husband, we got two of the mint lemonades (so delicious!), two of the “pies”, the fried liver appetizer, baba ghanouj, and muhamara. The total was less than $100 including tip and we had enough leftovers for a full dinner. They even gave us more bread to take home with the leftovers. Don’t be fooled by the negative reviews - most of them look like it’s the same person with different spelling of their name. And I really don’t understand the people complaining about the price - I’ve been to most of the Arab restaurants within a 10-mile radius and they all either have the same prices or are more expensive than The Olive Bistro.

Please consider that there are people attempting to submit repeated false and hateful reviews from fake accounts on purpose that have never tried or stepped foot in this restaurant, if you see anything suspicious report it, that’s the least we can do.
