  I have always liked this store, until this morning when I was treated very poorly by a cashier (I believe her name is Catly or Caty, I’m not exactly sure). Today, April 14th, around 7:35 AM, there was only one register open (the light was on), and the employee was standing at the checkout. I approached the register and started placing my items on the belt. When she arrived, I said “good morning,” but she didn’t even acknowledge me. She noticed that I had my phone in my hand (I am an Instacart shopper), and from that moment on, her behavior became extremely rude. She raised her voice at me and was visibly aggressive, especially for that early in the morning. At one point, she stated that I was not a customer, and referred to me as “a DoorDash.” After leaving the register, I went to customer service, but it was closed. The same employee came over and asked what I needed. I told her I wanted to file a complaint about her behavior. She simply looked at me and said, “The manager won’t be here for another hour,” and walked away laughing. I felt extremely embarrassed. I was also there working, serving a customer of your store — someone who could not be there in person. Instacart shoppers and DoorDash drivers are also customers. Employees need to stop treating us as if we are an inconvenience or an extra burden. This experience was very disappointing. ACME LINCROFT

  The fried chicken was very dry. Just crowded with merchandise and little room to move thru the aisles.

  Went yesterday 2/15. Left my phone home. I have been going to this store for 31 years. I noticed a digital sale on asparagus for $1.49. Again I didn’t have my phone. My phone number is in their records. I have the app but was told they couldn’t help me. We are talking maybe a three dollar purchase. They could have weighed it at a maned register and put $1.49 as the price. Problem solved. I expressed my concern that what if I didn’t own a cell phone. I would be disqualified from sales? I said that was discriminating against elderly I was told no because I still had the opportunity to get a phone but chose not to. This is a disgrace. There is fierce competition for business in the area. There are two beautiful Shop Rite stores within ten minutes. They have better selection and much better prices and much better sales. I buy American cheese for $4.99 most times as compared to almost $10 at Acme. That alone is worth the trip. There is also a newly opened Aldi on Newman z springs as well as a Foodtown. You will slowly go out of business at this point. I prefer Shop Rite and will continue to take the few minute drive to receive the benefits that you are sorely missing.

  I enjoy Acme's food product selection. This place has some different items I dont or may not see in some other stores.
