When I called the store again, I was then told that they were not able to send the item out after all. I asked why no one contacted me to let me know, and the person on the phone simply said they had “just come in” and could issue a refund. I understand that mistakes happen, and I was more than willing to work with the store to resolve the issue. However, the lack of communication, empathy, and accountability throughout this situation was truly disappointing. Not only was my time wasted, but my son’s meal had to be adjusted due to their error. I would like to understand whether this level of service is considered acceptable for your restaurant—whether dining in or ordering to-go. From my perspective, this experience was a significant inconvenience and far below the standard I expected.
