We had a very disappointing experience at Parivaar Delights last Friday around midnight. My wife took a photo of me, and a waiter named Hitesh rudely demanded we delete it, despite no signs prohibiting photos and I’ve taken photos there before with the owner’s knowledge. He even threatened me over my visa status, which is completely unprofessional. It’s concerning that the restaurant might be employing international students illegally. Management needs to contact me to resolve this, or I will take further action. Customers deserve respect, and this was unacceptable.

Someone please tell them gem the difference between boiled chicken and rice and Dum Biryani! What happened Pariwaar delights? Worst, I travelled 30 miles because my 7 year old wanted to eat the same Biryani we used to eat when we were in Jersey City. We instead got this boiled rice and watered down salan and paid close to $30 for it. Shame!

Used to be so good, but the quality has gone down lately. The taste of the biryani has changed a lot, and the service has become quite poor. This has happened to me three times now, and I even noticed people leaving because no one was attending to them. We ordered a starter and a biryani — but every time, the biryani arrived first, and the starter never came. When I asked about it, the server seemed surprised to hear we had even ordered one. The mutton in the biryani has also been very chewy each time. I even asked for a soda, but the server either ignored or completely forgot about it, even after a reminder. Things definitely need improvement. Unfortunately, I’ll be looking for another biryani place nearby.

Absolutely flavorful and worth every bite! Pariwaar Delights serves some of the most authentic and satisfying Indian food I’ve had in Jersey City. The goat biryani was rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced, and the chicken dishes were equally incredible — full of depth and flavor. A special shout-out to Febin, who was amazing! Even though he was new and running solo, he handled everything with such grace and a genuine smile — completely unphased by the rush and demanding crowd. His calm energy and attentiveness made the experience even better. Highly recommend this spot — flavorful food, great service, and real heart behind it.

I ordered Paneer Biryani, but to my shock and disappointment, there were pieces of chicken inside it. I am a strict vegetarian, and this is absolutely unacceptable, unethical, and careless. Such a mistake is not only disrespectful to vegetarian customers but also a serious violation of food safety and consumer trust. This kind of negligence can have legal consequences. I am filing a formal complaint with the Food Safety Department and demanding an immediate investigation into this restaurant’s kitchen and hygiene practices. If such incidents continue, their food license should be suspended or terminated. I expect a full refund, apology, and assurance that strict action will be taken against the restaurant responsible. This is not just a mistake it’s a serious breach of ethics and food safety laws.
