A man who appeared mentally unstable walked in, grabbed peanuts with his bare hands, paced around, and eventually sat right next to us after placing his peanuts on the table. The staff clearly noticed but did nothing to address it. We felt unsafe and uneasy, and it seemed like this might be a recurring situation based on the staff’s reaction. I have nothing against homeless or mentally ill individuals, but the restaurant has a responsibility to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for customers. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this location, which is disappointing because we like Five Guys.
