  Biscuits and gravy were good but not fantastic. Felt more like a thick muffin than a biscuit. Bao buns were not my thing. French toast was good and buttery.

  Alyce was a true 10/10 experience. We walked in for a weekday lunch/brunch and started with the brisket tacos as an appetizer, it was an amazing first impression, it was absolutely perfect, I just wish I wasn’t sharing - next time we’ll each get our own! My entree was shrimp and grits which was also delicious, the shrimp was cooked perfectly and there was a poached egg on top which always makes everything better. I got to pick a type of bread to go along with the meal and was about to choose sourdough until the server mentioned the option of a fresh baked biscuit! Bonus - it was served with butter and house made jam. My husband got the mojo chicken which was also very good, especially the black bean puree. We also wanted to try the crispy bacon fried rice (which also came with an egg!) and it was something we’d definitely order again. Last but not least, the service was amazing! Can’t wait to try their dinner menu.

  Cafe Alyce is exceptional. Been in the service industry for a long time. I’m a big fan of small menus where you crush everything you sell and the four or five times I’ve been here they haven’t missed. I try to do new things each time but occasionally I just have to repeat. Had the salmon that had a coconut curry kinda sauce was fire and my wife had the truffle scallop alfredo-ish dish that was bonkers. Service was excellent. Attentive and very professional. My wife and I came for our anniversary and they consistently exceed expectations. Cool little cocktail spot attached as well. They do trivia once a week I believe and it’s dope.

  The parking is tough but definitely worth the drive. The staff and food was really good! I had the Shakshuka and my wife had the Bulgogi bowl. We really like her meal the most but honestly the star was those damn biscuits. I eat would 10 if I could.
