  Tried the saoji’s special chicken kala masala curry, chicken sukka, pomfret tawa fry, bhakri, and chaas. The chicken kala masala curry was the clear standout—rich, spicy, and truly lived up to its reputation as their specialty. The chicken sukka was good as an appetizer, but the pomfret tawa fry was disappointing and lacked flavor. Overall, a decent experience, but the kala masala curry is what I’d come back for

  The best nagpur style food I've ever had. We had VADA PAV, MISAL, KOTHIMBIR VADI, KHEEMA PAV, CHAI and every damn thing was delicious. We went there again specifically for vada pav again. I would also recommend their fried fish and other non-veg dishes as I looooveeeddd kheema pav.

  Absolutely incredible dining experience! The food quality here is top-tier; every dish was bursting with fresh, authentic flavors. We tried the paneer butter masala, and the spice levels were perfectly balanced—rich and aromatic without being greasy. uses high-quality ingredients. Naan was awesome

  I’m a Nagpuri and I have been making and eating saoji since my childhood, the food here was not “Saoji” saoji and I came all the way from California to eat that. Also no one to take orders on time, only one guy who spoke proper Nagpuri was attentive. I don’t know if it’s an east coast thing or what but yeah bad experience for such a hyped place.

  I was genuinely excited to try this place after hearing so many glowing reviews about its authentic Indian (Souji) cuisine. With high expectations, I ordered the Souji Mutton Thali, Goan Fish Thali, Butter Chicken, and a fish appetizer. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The food lacked flavor across the board. The mutton in the thali seemed like it had been cooked separately and then hastily added to the curry—resulting in a disjointed taste and texture. The meat cuts were subpar, with too many bones and very little actual meat. The fish dishes didn’t fare much better, lacking the freshness and seasoning I had hoped for. As for the Butter Chicken, I didn’t expect it to be a standout since it’s not their specialty—but even then, it missed the mark entirely. What surprised me most was the number of reviews praising the food as “authentic Souji.” Based on my experience, I’d have to respectfully disagree. Perhaps it was just an off day in the kitchen, but it certainly didn’t live up to the hype. That said, one thing I truly appreciated was the ambiance—warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. The slogans on the wall added a fun and personal touch that made the space feel vibrant and welcoming. If only the food had matched the vibe, this could have been a favorite.
