  Had an amazing experience. We had the pleasure of Rodrigo as our waiter. Rodrigo was very friendly, courteous and attentive to us. The food was delicious. Staff very professional and friendly and attentive. I will definitely return, and with friends.

  This Cuban restaurant is conveniently located near the PATH station in Harrison, NJ. We visited on a weekend night, eager to indulge in some authentic Cuban cuisine. The service was generally good, but the restaurant seemed a bit crowded. For instance, we were called to be seated despite the table being still being cleaned(although the staff apologized profusely). The food was reasonably priced, and since this was our first time experiencing Cuban cuisine, we were all excited to try it. We ordered the Veggie Puella and the Mambo Chicken, accompanied by fries. The Mambo Chicken was an absolute delight, incredibly flavorful and satisfying. I highly recommend trying it again on our next visit. On the other hand, the Veggie Puella was a bit of a letdown. It was too bland for our taste buds. I would suggest that you only try it if you’re accustomed to the saffron rice. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere was lively, but the music was a bit loud, which made it difficult to have a conversation.

  I had such a great experience here! The place was clean, the food came out quick, and everything tasted amazing. Our server Rodrigo was so kind, patient, and attentive the entire time — you can really tell they care about giving good service. They checked on us without being overwhelming and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely coming back, and highly recommend!

  Wilson and Steven were phenomenal and gave us an amazing experience for a party of 17. They were super quick and for whatever request we had. They were very attentive. I definitely would love to come again and love to have them as our servers as well. The food was also amazing. I recommend this place.

  I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Mambo Cuban Restaurant. I’ve visited several times and have recommended this place to countless friends and family. Eight people I know have even celebrated their birthdays there with large groups. Because of that history, I thought booking a reservation for 23 people for my niece’s birthday would be simple. I was wrong. They agreed to the reservation on short notice and sent an optional birthday package. Then, on the morning of the event, they suddenly claimed that groups of 20 or more were required to use the package. My group included teenagers with picky preferences and food allergies—there was no reason they should be forced into a limited four-item main course meal menu. If I wanted a buffet-style setup, I would have taken them to an actual buffet. Trying to work with them, I even reduced the group from 23 to 18, and they still insisted on the birthday package. At that point, after all the unnecessary back and forth, I canceled. This experience was completely unacceptable. It’s incredibly disappointing, especially after all the business and recommendations I’ve given this restaurant. ,
