I got back on the road and realized that my car hadn’t registered any gas entering my gas tank. I got off at the next exit and stopped at wawa, asking once again for a fill up. This time it came to over $86. My tank was indeed filled. I called my card company, they told me that they couldn’t credit my card bc the charge from the gas station at Farley bc the charge was still pending. When the charge finally went through, they didn’t give me the $ back. I had called the police and the gas station, as well as the Farley plaza so that all were aware of what happened. Apparently stealing from cards while pumping gas is a real thing. After discussing with several different people-all told me the same thing-ask for a specific amount when having the station pump your gas. Life lesson learned.
