- LPLou PadillaNov 16, 20251.0I can’t rate the food because I didn’t get any. Walked in to the location on Whitehorse Pike on a Sunday. Four employees behind the counter. Two DoorDashers picking up and me are the only customers. I’m asked if I’ve placed my order yet, I respond “No”. She proceeds to do answer the phone and take orders. A regular walks in and strikes up conversation, then orders food from same lady that ignored me. I ask another employee putting together orders, If I can place my order and he tells me at the end of the line. I’m clearly at the front of the line. Been standing there for at least 5 mins. The place is only but 20 sqft. Disgraceful. Would have been a first time customer. You only get 1 first impression. Aunt Bertha won’t be seeing me ever again.

The range of food they had was amazing too. From standards like ribs, chicken(fried and baked), greens and Mac and cheese. But also chitlens and pig feet. The service was incredible, they made us feel at home and we're super nice and friendly. Definitely gonna make the trip again.

The wait was longer than expected but the woman working register/behind the line was very kind and gave clear communication on when my order would be completed. She deserves a raise. Definitely worth the 20 minute drive. Will be returning !

I was greeting when I entered and there was constant communication as I waited for my order to be completed. My food was hot and cooked to perfection with generous portions. As I mentioned it was Halloween, they were even giving candy treats to trick or theaters and guests. Such a great way to connect with community.
