  Food was really good! You can tell that the recipes originated in the south! Everything was seasoned well,food was delicious! Just make sure you call ahead and ask what time the are cutting off the fryer. Drove almost an hour,2 hours before they closed, and was told that I couldn't order anything fried because they had already shut the fryers down☹️

  So I gave four stars because of the service, atmosphere, and those chitlins. Today was my first time having them in years and I’m happy that I did it. It was a little pricey, but I get it because EVERYTHING is. I did have a lunch special Thursday, which was the turkey wing with baked Mac and collard greens. The turkey wing could’ve been cooked longer. The baked Mac was my least favorite, it was very tasteless and the collard greens were good could’ve been cleaned a little better but they were still amazing… TRY THE CHURCH PUNCH

  Today’s meal was the worst I had from her! I requested my fish fried hard but it was so hard that I could knock someone out with it. It was really upsetting to have experienced that. After today I will not be recommending anymore.

  Wow! Outstanding experience. We just left and I couldn’t write this review fast enough. We are from the south and this restaurant reminded us so much of home. My husband ordered the Sunday dinner (he learned it was more than enough for us to share!) and I ordered a fried pork chop, 3 roasted chicken wings with mashed potatoes and collard greens. Delicious! We have taken what we did not finish home to reheat tomorrow for lunch or dinner. Loved the service and will definitely return for many more meals! Our little boy will grow up eating here, too! A must try! The dining room and bathroom were super clean and the dining room has plenty of seating!

  It's so amusing and pleasing that my meals of fried porkchop, garden rice, candied yams, tuna macaroni salad, potato salad, and BBQ beef ribs was all that😋 and a bag of chips🤭excellent. I work shopped at collingswood location in early 00s. I received some exciting and absolutely great news. I would post a Pic, but I can't find the prompt to post image of my items. I ordered my items around 11:08a. and everything was fresh & tasty, especially the salads.
