  This was a lovely place. Really delicious soul food that has Berta's special touch on it. Really unique rib sauce, green beans, and Mac and cheese was awesome. Picky eaters were happy. Nothing greasy or oversalted, just good home cooked food. Service was warm and kind. Very good value for portions especially when everything is expensive. We are from the south and appreciate the food so much.

  Food is good and service is very friendly but they run out of stuff kind of often and I’ve gotten home to find stuff missing. But if that happens you can call and let them Know and they will do their best to rectify your issue. Good clean place with tasty food. Just check your platters and bags before you leave🙂

  What a great experience! Got 6 platters for my DIL’s birthday meal and each one of us LOVED the tasty food. Portions are generous and prices are great for such quality food. Restaurant is also nice and clean. Staff were very friendly. Thank you! We will definitely be back!

  My partner and I got the lunch special. I had the wings and my partner had the fish. We both had the collard greens and Mac and cheese as sides. Lunch special platters had great portions for only $10. We also had the banana pudding for dessert. Food was amazing! Will definitely be back!

  Tried this place for the first time. The thing that was most unfortunate is the lack of communication and organization in distributing the completed orders. I ordered ahead of time and when I got there the line was practically out the door. I stated me name and asked if the order was ready. It was not, which was ok. The problem came when it became ready and no one informed me. As such, after about 30 minutes I asked again about my order and to my surprise it was ready and put up as if I was not standing there for over 30 minutes waiting. Food was just ok, nothing extraordinary. The place is very busy but the young man they had doing the side orders was at one speed, very slow, no sense of urgency.
