An older employee with dirty plastic gloves was throwing out trash and cleaning? He served me my potatoes with the dirty gloves? I asked him to please use a spoon to serve my food, and he insulted me angrily. I do not recommend this Acme employee.

Disgusting and disappointing

Decided to try to get my daughter some cards while my wife shopped. After about 5 minutes I was cut by someone who then decided to ignore me like I was never there. When I complained to him about cutting me he got the manager who told us both to leave the machine which is fine, there is supposed to be no loitering. However the manager felt the need to make a loud scene and throw everyone out including my wife and daughter who were shopping at the time. I am sure she deals with all kinds of dumb fights over the Pokémon cards due to scalpers camping at the machines, but that whole scene was uncalled for and very unprofessional for a store manager dealing with any customer.

After grabbing a few items, I headed to checkout and hesitated between two cashiers. My instincts said to wait for the second cashier, but the first looked open, so I went ahead. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable from the start. The cashier, Chris, never greeted me, never asked if I had a rewards card, and didn’t tell me my total. There was zero interaction. The moment that really sealed the experience was when he crumpled my receipt and handed it to me without a word or even eye contact. Customer service makes all the difference, and this checkout experience was disappointing enough to affect my overall rating.
