- ZZZulemyOct 25, 20251.0Sonic has gone down hill. It was a great place to stop by when they first opened in NJ. They are known for their 1/2 price deals however their food is NEVER fresh anymore. I used to buy the chicken club toaster and it always was served hot and fresh. I've been to this location quite a few times with no customer service issues. Today I decided to stop by even knowing what I know simply because I wanted to use car side and replicate this sandwhich. It was only around 6:30pm and I was told that they were only taking orders at the drive thru. Well then I guess I'll be going to a different business because if I wanted drive thru, I would have chosen that. The drinks, hotdogs, and shakes are the ONLY items that are ok. The employees here, it depends on who you get...sadly they can hang outside but can't walk and hand a bag. 🙄
