Making everyone feel at home. Me personally I was not going to buy Salami only after asking him which one was good, I decided to buy a pound looking forward to having real human like him take care of me next time. He should be commended in his great work. FYI I just him for the first time today. Regarding your store is always neat and clean and everyone there is always warming and helpful. Thank you

On a recent visit, I went to the deli counter when no one else was waiting. The manager was in plain sight toward the back and looked over at me but ignored me. I stood there for about 10 minutes before finally asking politely if he could help me. Instead of a courteous response, he turned around and said rudely, “Can’t you see I’m doing something? I’ll help you when I’m done.” A simple, “I’ll be right with you,” would have been enough. When he eventually came over, he didn’t greet me—he just said, “What do you need?” After slicing the cold cuts, he didn’t hand them to me like every other employee does, and he didn’t say thank you or acknowledge me at all. He just left them on the counter. No customer deserves to be spoken to or treated this way. This was not a one-time issue—his rudeness seems to be a pattern. In fact, I know another employee who actually transferred to a different Stop & Shop because of this manager’s sarcastic comments and negative attitude. Now, when I see him at the counter, I avoid going there altogether. It’s disappointing, because the other deli employees are always polite, helpful, and professional.
