  I’d encourage other consumers to think carefully before visiting. A café calling itself artisan sets high expectations, especially with equipment like a Mazzer grinder and a La Marzocco machine behind the bar. Unfortunately, the coffee didn’t live up to that promise. The espresso tasted under-extracted, the milk was scalding hot, and my latte looked like a sad cappuccino. I also noticed the steam wand wasn’t cleaned or purged between drinks, the milk jug wasn’t rinsed, and fresh milk was poured into already hot milk — fundamentals of milk preparation. If these basic steps aren’t being followed, it suggests staff training and quality control simply aren’t priorities. With even minimal attention to technique, the results could be dramatically better. Service was underwhelming as well. Beyond calling out orders, there was very little acknowledgment of customers while staff continued chatting among themselves. With proper training and care, this place could be excellent. Right now, it falls far short of its own branding.

  The guy working at the place has great customer service skills and goes the extra mile to make customer happy. I recently visited Melon Park Bear at Nordstrom and was left with mixed feelings. The service was friendly and attentive (4/5), but unfortunately, the food didn’t measure up. My coffee was bland and surprisingly pricey, which took away from the experience (1/5). The atmosphere was okay—clean but lacking warmth or personality (2.5/5). Overall, it’s a decent spot if you’re already shopping and need a quick break, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for the food or coffee.

  I ordered a matcha and it was a cup of milk. Asked for some more matcha in it and she said she would have to charge me. Older woman with brown hair and glasses is super rude
