Bombay spice catered for the Middlesex College annual Diwali event for the Indian Student assosciation and the food was wonderful. He gave a large quanitity of food to feed crowd of 50-70 people for a very good price. Many of the guests complimented the taste of the food. The staff at bombay spice is very cooperative and supplied with anything we needed.

Ordered a Mix Veg Kati Roll and Vada Pav for pickup via Grubhub. The Kati Roll was well below average, mostly filled with onion and cucumber, plus small frozen fried pieces. It was flavorless and nothing like how a real Kati roll should be. On the bright side, the Vada Pav was good, and service was quick. Overall, wouldn’t recommend the Kati rolls here, but the Vada Pav is worth a try.

When you walk into Bombay spice II you are immediately transported to Bombay. Everything form the atmosphere to the food to the service was excellent. We had a a chaat to start out with that was masterfully prepared as spicy food. Gautami provided us with great service and was happy to answer any questions we had regarding our food. We will definitely come back!

Bombay Spice at the Edison Diwali Bash 2025 delivered an exceptionally disappointing dining experience—both the pavbhaji and samosa chaat were not only stale and lacking any real flavor, but also resulted in severe stomach upset and discomfort afterward. The food's quality was shockingly poor, with pavbhaji tasting like it had been reheated multiple times and samosa chaat so soggy and bland, that it was genuinely hard to finish the dish ### Stale and Disgusting Food - The pavbhaji had a foul smell and tasted of old, overcooked vegetables, leaving a lingering unpleasant aftertaste. - Samosa chaat was a mushy, cold mess with stale chutneys and rubbery samosas—making the entire dish inedible. - Both dishes caused significant stomach issues and ruined the festival experience, suggesting either poor hygiene practices or the use of old ingredients. ### Urgent Need for Quality Improvement - The experience at Bombay Spice during Diwali Bash was not just disappointing—it was the worst kind of food nightmare. - Such low standards for festive food are unacceptable; immediate and drastic improvements in food quality and safety are desperately needed for future events. - Guests expect fresh, delicious Indian street food, but instead received stale, poorly prepared items that were unsafe for consumption. In summary, Bombay Spice failed spectacularly at the Edison Diwali Bash 2025. Until proper steps are taken to address freshness, hygiene, and quality, avoid this place and choose anywhere else for a safe and enjoyable celebration.
