My son drove all the way from New York to our place in Sayreville & wanted to eat Indian food, especially Chicken Tikka Masala. So he checked a high number of reviews for Bombay Spice 11 & we 3 drive all the way to it to enjoy our dinner. The coconut kachoris tasted stale, most probably frozen! When coconut is stale, it irritates your throat & all 3 of us have been coughing since last night now!! The veg.Manchurian tasted stale too!! The chicken tikka was just ok, not freshly cooked either!! My son hardly ate anything & went home hungry!! & he paid for this lousy dinner too coz he said he wanted to go here so it’s on him…!! Very very terrible & stale food to be paying $85 for!!!!

Very mid food. Chana masala Kathi roll was black Chana not the chickpeas. They’re small rolls for $9-10. Dosa crisp was good but the masala and sambhar are very Gujarati tasting so if you’re looking for a South Indian taste it isn’t it. Pani puri was good but small quantity for $9. Overall wouldn’t recommend it, it’s over hyped.

We had a great experience at Bombay Spice 2 with friendly, attentive service and an impressive variety of Swaminarayan (no onion, no garlic) options, which is hard to find. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with recommendations. I highly recommend the Paneer Gotaro, Kaju Curry, and the Chinese Bhel, and the fantastic brownie dessert was the perfect way to end the meal.

Absolutely loved this Indian restaurant in the Matawan area! The food was excellent fresh, flavorful, and truly delicious. The vibe was trendy and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Our kids had a great time, and we really appreciated how kid-friendly the place was. After a long, hard day of work at the hospital, this place is incredibly relaxing and the perfect spot to unwind. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Thank you!

Bombay Spice offers good-tasting Indian food with enjoyable, well-balanced flavors overall. The menu has solid options, portions are reasonable, and the service is polite, making it a comfortable spot for a casual family meal. Ordered chicken manchow, chicken vindaloo and naan, medu vada, chicken fried rice. While the manchow soup and chicken vindaloo was amazing. Medu vada and fried rice were a complete no-no. Fried rice was not at all as the indo chinese or keduc vada wasnt authentic in taste. One small downside is consistency—while most items are good, there can be variations. For example, the masala soda was excellent on the first order, but when reordered, it turned out sweeter than expected and didn’t match the earlier taste. Overall, a good place to visit, with minor room for improvement in maintaining consistency.
