GREAT SERVICE; GOOD NYC VIEW if you can reserve the seat. Very popular for some reason despite being very pricey. I've seen many birthday dinners and anniverary dinners. The servers are very kind and helpful. For 5 people w/o wines, expect to pay $400+ very easy. The steak was not too bad. Not exceptional. The small side dishes are $18+/-.

Yellowtail crudo was definitely not fresh and We had to send it back, appetizers came all separately for whatever reason, signature potatoes au gratin cold inside and completely flavorless, quality of food just questionable… If not the fact that one of the servers hopped behind the bar and asked if there is anything she can help us with, the actual bartender/s didn’t even acknowledge the fact We were there. Cocktails just very poorly executed. On a bright side We got a nice table with a great view and our server was nice, attentive and professional. Nice touch of management presence after a food flops. Quite disappointing if I can be honest

Dined here for the first time for my birthday. Our server was great. He made great recommendations for the table. My issue was service did feel rushed after appetizers were dropped. The runner kept circling around us asking to clear our table for mains as we were eating. We declined 3 separate times. Also, he was a bit rude to my younger nephew, however, our service did apologize and try to rectify the behavior. The biggest issue was my sister’s order. She ordered the filet mignon that arrived at the table spoiled. The meat itself was mushy and there was a very distinctive pungent odor and taste, almost resembling feces. It was clear the meat had gone bad. It was taken off our bill, but I honestly felt like there should have been more to rectify the situation. After desserts arrived, we were left alone at the table for almost 20 minutes. We had to flag down another member of staff for the check as they were starting closing procedures ignoring us and another group of patrons sitting next to us. I paid and tipped graciously as our server was fantastic. Everything else was rather off putting. As a manager in food service, this wasn’t the level of service and recovery I expected. It’s a beautiful space, but this is unfortunately the last time they will take my money.

This Fleming’s location has had a drastic decline in quality of food over the last year. Salmon was terrible. Mashed potatoes were stale. Steak was okay but lacked seasoning and the butters that they offer to accompany it create a popcorn-like taste, which is something that belongs in a movie theater, not a fine dining restaurant. While high prices are expected at fine dining establishments, their pricing is totally inappropriate for the quality of the food that you get. Moreover, the wait staff was not knowledgeable. When asked for a simple explanation of what the dish was comprised of (beyond what was listed on the menu), the server looked at my menu and just read directly from it. Later, one of our dishes contained a mistake. While they did address it, this was not a pleasant experience, especially while celebrating a special occasion. Fleming’s Edgewater was our go to for celebrations, but until their quality of food and wait staff knowledge increase, we won’t be going there. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because my experiences there in the past were great, and the ambience and views are very pleasant.

Flemings is a staple for many people. The atmosphere is pretty romantic. My boyfriend and I were here just this past Valentine’s Day. It was his first time here but my second time - my first time was around 2017. Firstly, the service was good. Our server was polite and high energy (so sorry to have forgotten his name). Overall, I was disappointed to say the least. The Bone-in Filet Mignon was very bland and flavorless. I ordered the butter trio enhancement which was cold and a bit pointless as it made no difference. The brussel sprouts were over seasoned, overcooked and pretty much soaked in the wine sauce. My Lobster Bisque was okay but not as expected. There were about 3 small pieces of lobster in it. Fortunately the carrot cake was delicious. The chantilly cream with fruits were maybe a 3/5. Our Blueberry Lemon Drop cocktails were also not the best. The glasses were sticky and there was no blueberry flavor at all. I personally would not return to Flemings given my experience with the food and drinks. As far as recommending to others, I would tell others to give it a try to see if they like it.
