  Went to the restaurant for lunch with my husband. The waitress was totally inexperienced . We order from the lunch menu ( showed to her ) . When we received the bill is was double than expected . She placed dinner in their pc . They didn’t adjust our account - we paid double, eat lunch - of course left the entree, the rice..etc and not a manager came to our table to solve the issue . Be aware - u you can pay for their employees mistakes !

  Olive Bistro is honestly the best restaurant I’ve tried across New Jersey and New York so far. From the moment we sat down, everything was just perfect. The service was exceptional—the waiters really took their time to guide us through the menu since we were unsure what to choose. Their recommendations were spot on, and they were very honest about timing, letting us know that some dishes would take around 25–35 minutes. Everything came out exactly as promised, right after our appetizers, which made the whole experience feel smooth and well-organized. The staff were incredibly attentive throughout. My sisters and I were constantly asking for things, and they were always there—friendly, patient, and genuinely happy to help. Now the food… absolutely amazing. We tried the makluba, mansaf, and waraq al-enab, along with a variety of mixed appetizers—and every single dish was outstanding. Every bite was full of flavor, authentic, and clearly made with care. It’s rare to go somewhere where everything you order is that good. This place truly stands out, and I honestly can’t wait to go back again.

  Incredible service, Generous portions of very tasty food and desserts and excellent value for money. Friendly and accommodating staff. We went for Easter lunch with a big group of 30 people and the food, service, timeliness and cleanliness exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommend

  It genuinely pains me to write this because I really wanted to love this restaurant. I went on a Saturday night, so of course it was busy—which was actually nice to see. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from the start. We stood at the front for about five minutes without any acknowledgment from the hostesses. Eventually, we were added to the waitlist and told we’d receive a text in 30 minutes. After 40 minutes with no update, we went back inside to check—only for a different staff member to seat us immediately without any issue. Despite having plenty of staff, the service was disappointing. The team came across as disengaged and inattentive, which really impacted the overall experience. My wife and I spent around $200, and honestly, the only thing we truly enjoyed was the hummus. The rest of the food was mediocre and felt mass-produced, lacking the care and quality we were expecting. That said, the decor and ambiance are beautiful, and the space itself has a great vibe. I’m hopeful the owners take the necessary steps to improve, because there’s definitely potential here. I used to love going to the Little Falls location and expected the same level of service and quality in Clifton, but this visit was a letdown. And to top it off—I still never received the “your table is ready” text days later.

  Absolutely amazing experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We Celebrated My Husband’s Birthday 🎂 The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried exceeded expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcomed from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was spotless, and you can really tell they take pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. Service was fast and efficient without ever feeling rushed, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. And the prices were very reasonable for the quality you receive—great value all around. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back! Absolutely amazing experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
