  Most bars that try for the dive bar persona miss the mark. Most have crap food and aren't overly clean. River grill has great drinks, food and friendly bartenders. Well played.

  My friend and I have been going to this place for five years now. We never had any issues service was always good. Food was always good. We used to sit at the bar and Ryan used to always take great care of us all the time. We had a group of eight people myself, my friend in another friend we were sitting at the bar waiting for our table to be ready period because I called earlier in the week to reserve a table and they said they They do not take reservations for the weekends and if it’s less than 10 people. They said it’s first come first serve so just be early. this rude obnoxious in the most unprofessional waitress tells us OK. Your table is ready so we are sitting at the table. After waiting 40 minutes at the bar ok no problem. I didn’t mind waiting for the table because we were watching sports at the bar. Literally 10 minutes later after sitting at our table she says where is the rest of your party you said you have 8 if your party is not here in five minutes I am kicking you out of this table and we are moving you to another table. This table only sat four people. I said they’re running a little bit behind. She didn’t want to hear it. She’s then said I’ll give you guys another five minutes or else either you pick the table that sits 4 or you’re gonna leave. Meanwhile, at the bar, we started ordering food and drinks then we got to the table. I ordered a brand new Stella didn’t even take a sip of it yet she comes back and says OK I’ve given you guys enough time. Meaning I’ve given you enough time she basically said time to leave/bounce. she lost out of easily in $800 bill as soon as we got up from the table the remainder of our friends walked in. I have never been treated this way ever. so that $800 bill then became a $40 bill and we were just ready starting to order food. She didn’t want any part of it. whatever issues she was having either at home or in work she should’ve taking it out on customers who are returning customers, especially over many years and new coming customers because now this establish is never getting my business and all my friends returning business the only reason why I was always returning is because the great customer service that I received from the guy behind the bar Ryan and the food that was always really good. Now this experience with this waitress has ruined my experience. I will never return to this place again.

  I will never come back here. Ever ever ever again. Ive been coming here for over 5 years and never had service like this. We all walk out after two drinks. So let me explain what happened. I called on Monday asked if they take reservations because I was bringing 8 friends with me here since I’ve always had such a good experience here when I came with 3 friends. They said they don’t since they it’s the weekend. They said come early since it’s first come first served. I got there around 6:30. They said it’s a 40 minute wait ok no problem. I had a drink with my one friend my other friends showed up shortly after. About 7ish this waitress I don’t know her name because Ryan always takes care of me at the bar . But anyhow we get seated my other friends showed up a few minutes after . Then the waitress said you said you had a party of 8 in which I said they are running a little late. She then said —OK IF THEY DON’T SHOW UP IN THE NEXT 10 MINUTES YOU ARE LOSING YOURE TAKE . I WE STARTED TO ORDER SOME MORE DRINKS SHE THEN CAME BACK AND SAID IN 2 MINUTES YOU ARE LOSING YOURE TABLE. I just order a Stella we ended up just paying and walking out it was 40ish dollars . We just got done paying and our friends showed up they we inside. This waitress lost out on a 800 plus dollar. We were going to order a lot of food . This service was totally unprofessional and unnecessary. I’ve worked in the food service industry.

  I have never experienced a more rude bartender anywhere. My friends and I walked in ranging from ages 22-23 and we might as well have been high schoolers the way he treated us. Instantly barked to hand over our IDs and yelled to hurry up as we were getting them. When he verified them he threw them on the counter and impatiently took our orders with a look of disgust on his face. All we wanted to do was enjoy the basketball games and the experience was ruined the second we arrived. I would second guess coming if you’re under 30.

  We used delivery but I do like the atmosphere the times I’ve been there in person! Food was delivered quickly and it was all DELICIOUS!! We had spicy chicken tacos, fish tacos and appetizers. Yum!
