  We’ve been loyal customers of Cogman’s Creek for years — lunches, catering, and regular orders — but this experience was so disappointing and honestly upsetting. I have severe allergies, and onions are one of my highest-risk triggers that can cause severe allergic reactions. I ordered the Cheese Steak Wrap and left a very clear note requesting NO onions. When I got home, my order was wrong. I called the restaurant and instead of an apology, I was met with a condescending response: “Well what do you want us to do? Want a new one?” When I politely said yes please and thank you, the call was abruptly ended. A few minutes later, a man named Steve called and immediately began questioning me about toppings, then berated me, insisting I “should know” the wrap comes with peppers and mushrooms — even though the menu description only lists: “Sliced steak, cheddar cheese, sautéed onions.” There is no mention anywhere of peppers or mushrooms. I double-checked the menu while on the phone and confirmed that. When I returned to pick up the remake, I was made to wait in line again awkwardly while Steve chatted casually, even after I asked to speak with the person who called me. When I explained what happened and showed screenshots, I was brushed off with “sorry sweetie.” I run a food blog with over 20K followers, and I genuinely love supporting local small businesses and helping them grow — which makes this even more upsetting. Mistakes happen, but ignoring an allergy note, blaming the customer for menu inaccuracies, and being rude and dismissive is unacceptable. I left nearly in tears. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, please be extremely cautious ordering here.

  All twelve enjoyed delicious sandwiches and salads from a great variety to select from. Delivery went well. When I called Cogman's with questions, they kindly and effectively responded. We will order from here again

  I've been there one other time and everything was great!! this time I went in for a couple picanha steaks. They broke down an entire top sirloin for me just to cut a few steaks, and he did it with a big smile on his face. After that we had a discussion about all of his dry aged and wagyu steaks from Japan and Australia and told me if I ever needed anything to call ahead and have it all prepped and ready. I've been in the food industry for over 18 years, I've worked all over the United States and Europe in some of the most demanding kitchens and hotels and everything about this culinary experience was great!!
