  First time at Cava for me. The salad was fresh and delicious, and Keaira at the checkout was helpful and super-friendly, telling me how much her Mom enjoyed Cava when Keaira brought her there recently.

  I have been a frequent Cava eater for close to a decade. Originally only at the Bridgewater location, but added East Brunswick to the list once it opened. Usually my experience is pretty good, but not so much last night. I was kind of in a rush which just made my experience worse and I was unable to excuse what I normally would. I got to the location a little before 7pm, so after I assume the dinner rush. When I got in line, there were 2 people ahead of me who had not yet begun their order and somehow it was 15 minutes before I was out the door. There was not enough staff on the ordering line. At least 2 less people than any other time I've been there. So the staff that was working behind the counter had to keep going back and forth while we just waited. Even the cashier had to deal with a togo issue so I was standing at the register for at least 3 minutes holding my card waiting to pay with no one there. On top of the slow service, the portion size seems to have shrunk considerably, or maybe the staff was just being extra stingy last night. Usually when I get a bowl, it's pretty full. Not last night. Almost no lettuce went into the bowl and the other fillings were barely added when I asked, also they were not all fully stocked. I did get the new salmon and while it was tasty, it was a pretty small piece and they would not allow me to add another protein to my bowl. I hope this was a fluke night, as I do enjoy Cava. But if this happens again, I might have to remove it from my rotation

  I came in to Cava for my first time confused unsure of what to try. Keaira, Izzy and MJ did a fantastic job guiding me through my experience making sure i made the best decisions to like my food to the best of my ability. Cava I will be back thank you for taking such pride in your employees

  Like every other establishment they were great in the beginning. This place & the employees have two speeds, “slow & slower” The line can literally be out the door & has been & they have no pep in their step at all. Most of the young ladies serving the customers have zero personality, not very friendly at all. Their prices are a bit steep especially for what I order which is just rice & chicken, literally NO other toppings at all. I get it everything is expensive these days just don’t be stingy with the portions. Don’t make the mistake and go in there after 8:30pm you’ll literally get the bottom of the barrel on everything. I asked them to refill the lemonade and was told they couldn’t. Lastly, they’ve become very dirty. Floors, tables are covered in food and sticky. Looks like they don’t bother wiping them down even though there’s 9-10 of them behind the counter any given time of day.

  Today's experience was amazing!!! I was very impressed!! Food was fresh customer service was on point!! Everyone made me feel welcomed Personable and kind Compliments to ciara for her outstanding customer service!! And warm welcome! I will be returning for my weekly cava bowl If you want good delicious food yall better take the trip to this location!! Food customer service and employees exceed expectations!! And the manager is very kind and helpful to all customers....as well... What a great experience!!
