  First time here, but will be back! This is the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time. The vegetable pakora and samosas were out of this world. I tried the Bihari Chicken on a recommendation from a friend, never had it before, but WOW. Will return for just that but the korma and butter chicken were even good. The manager Pooran Sharma was also great to us, telling us about the restaurant and the food, and recommending orange kufta for dessert. It was amazing. He also let us try another dessert which we never would have chosen otherwise. Already making plans to return.

  Had such a great experience at Mauka Indian Cuisine. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor. The butter chicken and chicken korma were rich and perfectly spiced, the pani poori was fresh and fun, and the vegetable appetizer platter was a standout. The pakora and samosas were phenomenal crispy, flavorful, and not greasy at all. The Bihari chicken was honestly amazing, super tender with so much depth of flavor. The naan was soft and perfect. Also have to shout out Pooran Sharma—super friendly, attentive, and made us feel really taken care of the whole time. He even surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch and a perfect way to end the meal. We will definitely be back!!

  I usually don’t write reviews but this is the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. An absolute gem! From the beautiful decor, to the top notch authentic delicious food, to the outstanding service, Mauka is definitely 10 out of 10 stars for everything. We love this place so much we go there almost every week. The ambiance is beautiful, so for special events definitely a place to pick for a combination of beautiful pictures, incredible food, and phenomenal service. So many things to rave about, their food is always fresh, and the owner, manager, servers, and kitchen staff really make every experience joyful. Also, the menu really caters to every part of India, which is so rare. I definitely recommend Mauka for a fantastic dining experience!

  My girlfriend and I went there for a nice casual dinner on Tuesday night. The service was impeccable and very accommodating. The manager attended to all of our needs and was very friendly personable and kind. The waitstaff was lovely. My friend and I had a great time enjoying our meal. The food was delicious, flavorful, and exactly what we expected. We’ll definitely be going back.

  We had the pleasure of dining at Mauka on Rte 202 in Bridgewater-Raritan this afternoon. We indulged in the weekend buffet…. Being Indian ourselves, we tend to stay away from Indian, especially buffets. That said we were very very pleasantly surprised and had an enjoyable meal! Though it was the buffet, the staff was extremely attentive and took great care in making sure that we had everything that we needed…. Warm rotis to the table, and fresh dosa from the dosa station - sent hot and fresh - So that we did not have to stand in a line. The staff was courteous and warm, and made sure that the table and plates were removed and kept clean throughout the whole meal. For a weekend buffet, The extent to which they took care of us was very pleasant but moreover, spoke volumes of their management and how organized and well run the establishment is! The management was actively on the floor, overseeing everything and checked on us multiple times (Always with a smile) To make sure that we did not need for anything. At one point, my mother inquired If they have badam halwa and one senior staff member, Mr. Gilani, said no but then a few minutes later brought her halwa topped with nuts - it was such a small gesture that touched our hearts! When I asked for tea, he even said he would ask the kitchen staff to make fresh tea for me - and it was perfect!!! They are certainly doing EVERYTHING right! As for the food—— There is nothing more to say, except that it was outstanding and delicious. Again Indian food is usually disappointing since ghar ka khanna is always the best…. That said their assortment of kebabs and aloo tiki chaat were very very good. I am not a person who enjoys goat curry in general, but I must say that even I enjoyed their goat patella….The chicken biryani is also something that I normally do not indulge in outside of the house, but it was very well made and quite tasty. The palak paneer, the daal and bhagare baingan were extremely extremely tasty to the point that I went back a second time just for those items!! I would definitely say that this is a place to check out and will absolutely go back in the future! This is one of the few restaurants in this area that is actually worth it!
