My family and I visited for the first time on Christmas. We started with vegetable samosas, papadoms with 3 chutneys, and a mango chuntey. For our mains we had chicken lollipops, chicken tikka masala with rice, garlic and regular naan, and a chicken and noodle dish for our children. We were pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. We took home our left overs and I will say it was even better as the spices had more time to marinate. I’ll also add that the staff were very friendly and engaging with my children as well. The restaurant was clean and festive for the holidays.
Today I stopped in to get an order of chicken tikka masala and garlic naan to take away for lunch. My order was ready when I arrived and tasted amazing when I got home.
We no longer have to go into The City to get our favorite Indian food as we found a just as good, local restaurant. We are looking forward to taking our friends and family when they visit.

We had an incredible experience with Mauka Indian Cuisine as our wedding day caterer and couldn’t be happier with our choice. We had visited the restaurant only once and absolutely loved the food, so choosing them to cater our wedding and reception was an easy decision - and they exceeded every expectation. Nadir Uncle is truly the best to work with. He was so kind, professional, and incredibly accommodating to my vision and needs throughout the entire process. The food was hands down some of the best we’ve ever had, and our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about it. Food was one of the most important parts of our wedding, and Nadir Uncle and the Mauka team absolutely delivered. We are so happy we chose them and would highly recommend them as a caterer for any wedding this year!

Dined here recently with a group of 4....The food is quite good and the atmosphere is pleasant but I have a major issue with their tipping process. I have never been to a restaurant where an 'automatic' 20 pct tip is added to the bill for a party of 4! For a party of 6 or more, sure, that's commonplace. Furthermore, this automatic tip is not noted anywhere on their menu nor did the server mention it to us either before dinner or when he brought the bill. I just happened to notice the added gratuity when reviewing our bill. But to make matters worse, our server brings his handheld credit card device to the table, hands it to me and there is a 'suggested' tip range from 20% - 30%!!! Are you kidding me?? After already including 20% in the bill??? Not a word from our server to alert me to this 'double dipping' trap. On top of the shady tipping practice, they charge a 'corking fee' for our wine without a single mention of this on the menu or from our server.
The whole thing seemed underhanded and turned us off to this restaurant. I told the manager about this on the way out and he didn't seem to care. Treat your customers honestly and you will get return business; otherwise, one and done!

We traveled a long distance with kids and after arriving no greeting nothing and the lady was on call after waiting for 10 min we were told the entire restaurant was booked for a private party and they did not have a table for us. However we were able to reserve table online once we were out !
There was no notice on the website, no sign on the door, and no communication at all and it was 7 pm and there were tables empty behind with some white people .Taking reservations while the restaurant is unavailable is completely unacceptable and shows serious mismanagement.
This wasted our time, disrupted our family plans, and caused unnecessary frustration. Experiences like this demonstrate a lack of respect for customers and extremely poor operational standards. Management needs to take responsibility and fix this immediately.

Had Christmas Dinner here. We have ordered delivery and pickup and both were amazing. Dining in was sublime. We started with Bang Bang Cauliflower - best we have tasted. Slightly creamy sauce with just enough spice. We treated ourselves to three entrees: Dal, Baigan Bartha (Eggplant) and Malai Kofta. The Dal was delicious; the eggplant was so wonderful - you could tell it was smoked (perfectly); and the Kofta were so soft and fresh, absolutely delicious. The paratha were perfection. We finished our meal with masala chai and molten chocolate lava cake which was topped with malai kulfi. (The chocolate sauce with the cake was bubbling and extra delicious drizzled over the top of the kulfi and the cake.) The service was excellent - attentive, polite, and just right. We find it hard to understand why anyone would give less than 5 stars for any aspect. We will be repeat customers.
