This is the second time I’ve gone there for a coffee and the customer service has been very bad.
A long time ago I paid for a regular coffee and they gave me a small one. I spoke to the young lady who was helping me and she said, “I already changed it for you,” and right in front of me she poured the exact same amount of coffee into a bigger cup and handed it to me without saying anything else. I left without complaining because it felt absurd to even witness that.
I went back this Wednesday night for a coffee, and my boyfriend got out of the car to order. The place was not closed yet, but the woman who was cleaning the floor rudely told him to wait. Then she came to take his order while carelessly dropping the mop bucket and speaking to him in another language, only to then switch to Spanish. Why the attitude? We understand people can be tired, but we were just stopping by for a coffee before work. It’s not fair to feel guilty for buying a product that is being PAID for

This morning around 8 AM, I walked into the establishment while waiting for my Uber after leaving a doctor’s appointment. Within about three minutes of sitting down and deciding what I wanted to order, a man that I assumed was management approached me and told me, “If you’re not going to buy anything, you need to leave.”
I found this interaction very rude and unnecessary, especially since I had just arrived and was still deciding what to order. He very soon came back while I was still thrown off at his approach and still wanted to take time in deciding what I wanted to get and He demanded that I leave, saying I was “taking up space,” without giving me a fair opportunity to place an order.
The situation left me shaken and upset. As someone who struggles with social anxiety, this experience caused me to cry, because I don’t have the heart to disrespect him how he disrespected me which by the way no customer should be made to feel. This felt like more than just enforcing store policy — it felt disrespectful and dehumanizing.
As someone who has worked in customer service and security, I understand the importance of enforcing policies and rules. However, it is always possible to do so respectfully and professionally. I hope this serves as a reminder that you never know what someone may be going through, and how you speak to people truly matters.

I placed a mobile order for the Halloween Spider Donuts, however, when I went there, the lady told me that they were out of stock and asked if I could come back the next day for them. So I came back the next day, and still they were out of stock and suggested to get a refund but she informed me that the store has nothing to do with their mobile app. She said I had to go through the mobile app to get a refund. I called the number from the app and emailed them with no rapid responses. So I called the store back to speak to a manager but ended up getting the same initial server that told me again there's nothing she could do and the manager won't be able to do anything either. She was very attentive and I don't think this was her intentions but she made it seem like I shouldn't make a big deal about $30 compared to her stating her loss of over $1000 worth of furniture from Wayfair in the same manner as my situation. Didn't make me feel good at all!! I then asked for their corporate number, and she said she didn't have that either that I have to Google the corporate number. I googled and called that number too... No answer!! I have never felt so cheated by a store that is one of the most popular and trusted for their services.
After completing the review from their receipt, I was called by management that told me he was gonna solve the problem. He claimed that because of the late time that I ordered the donuts, he left for the day and his staff didn't not have the authority to give the refund and he was gonna give me some donuts comparable to the ones I ordered. He asked for copies of my receipt and the online order receipt. I sent both but never heard from him again. It is now January and I have never received a refund or heard from management again. I know that boycotting this establishment won't make a difference in their pockets. They will still continue to get away with ripping people off but knowing that they will never get a dime from me again is good enough for me! So, I will soon get rid of all my gift cards and never see Dunkin Donuts again!
