  Stopped by the Wendy’s on Franklin Ave in Belleville, NJ around 11:40 AM (4/4/26), and honestly, it left a bad taste in my mouth and not because of the food. While ordering at the kiosk, there was a group of kids fresh from a baseball game sitting and eating quietly. One of them had ordered a burger and fries and went up to the counter after, politely asking for a BBQ sauce. The woman at the counter who appeared to be the manager, flat out told him no, saying he’d have to pay extra for it. For a multi-billion dollar company, refusing a single BBQ sauce to a kid is just ridiculous. It’s not like they were causing any trouble, they were respectful and well behaved. I ended up buying the sauce for him, and he was genuinely grateful. But that shouldn’t have even been necessary. If a kid wants BBQ sauce with his fries, it shouldn’t turn into an issue or pushback especially over something so small. If I was an undercover boss or the ceo himself and I walked into that, she would have been fired on spot! With that said…. Do better.

  Drive through needs training in Customer Service. It’s Hi welcome to Wendy’s how can I help you! They guys just said Hello and I’m like are you ready and he responded I’m waiting for you lol OMG and I barely understood what this guy was saying I left without ordering. He sounded rude or rushed.

  They do not disclose up charge when they offer sizes of biggie bags. They charged for sauces that came with meal. Better training for employees a must. One of their employees said he is quitting because of their lack of training.
